Oceanarium

We worked with these fantastic young poets from Beaminster St. Mary’s Primary Academy over the course of two weeks to create poems reflecting their wonder and respect for the sea, the creatures that live in it and its importance to our survival as a species.

And many of the poems contained within this anthology perfectly encapsulate this uneasy relationship. In this volume you will find impassioned pleas for saving the ocean, joyous celebrations of time spent in or on the water, cautionary verses warning of unknown or dangerous monsters and vivid descriptions of the wonder and awe the depths inspire.
