Year 5 Travel Writers review the world

Travelling the world was never this exciting ! This Thursday saw the culmination of our exciting travel writing project at Salway Ash Primary.

Working over five weeks with a fantastic group of Year 5s , we wrote travelogues that spanned the globe, and even took us to a few fantasy kingdoms as well! We used memories of our own journeys, drama, immersive multi-media and even VR to trot our way around the globe and document our travels.

From Greek islands to the beaches of Tenerife, from the mountains of Italy to the depths of outer space, we covered it all and wrote engaging travel pieces to awaken the adventurer in you. Supported as always by a dedicated team of writing mentors, Vicky, Lizzie, Amber, Graham, Mark, Alex and Rachel, the pupils really got their teeth into these travelogues. They were a delight to work with and we would happily voyage around the world with these seasoned travellers.
