‘Environment’ Poetry Book Launch at Loders Primary

We were back in Loders Primary School this week to present the children with their copies of the latest in our whole-school poetry anthology series: ‘Environment’.

As our official launch for the book, we brought a brief halt to the school day in order to celebrate their achievement in becoming published poets. We read some of the poems themselves, marvelled at the children’s use of language and structure, and took some time to enjoy the illustrations that went along with it.

This is a beautiful piece of work, with a wide range of poetry created by these amazing young people. Even the reception and pre-school class had got in on the act, and the verses contained in this anthology will make you laugh, think and see the world with new eyes.

Thanks so much to Ms Claire Pooley and all of the amazing staff at Loders Primary Academy for accommodating us and helping the children to create such brilliant pieces. It’s a lovely school to work in and we cannot wait to come back.
