An Amazing Catastrophe!

The Year 3s from Badger Class at Salway Ash Primary let their imaginations run riot this week as they wrote a brand new story featuring Junior, an eagle-winged onion in his battle against the Evil Pizza. Along the way, Junior is helped or hindered by a cast of weird and wonderful characters; Aberdeen Angus, Chunky Monkey and the Disco Cows all featuring in this tale of derring do and pepperoni peril.

The young people were ably supported in their writing by our team of dedicated volunteer writing mentors, and a huge thanks goes out to Vicky, Jackie and Jon for giving up their time to help these young authors get their ideas out into the world,

The story was fully illustrated by the amazing Francesca Chessa, whose gorgeous drawings really capture the beautiful simplicity of these pupils’ imaginations. We cannot thank her enough- her work is amazing - CHECK IT OUT HERE.
