“I was driving through Beaminster recently and it was a normal busy weekday morning, people popping into shops, chatting on the street, going about their business. Little did I know that just up the road The Bank of Dreams and Nightmares was roaring, exploding, clattering into action in Beaminster School, firing up this extraordinary collection of stories. Pouring out of the school into the bright Dorset morning were these tales of betrayal, yearning, adventure, jeopardy, cold-blooded murder and chilling suspense.”

The anthology is the culmination of a series of creative writing workshops with Year 9 pupils by children’s charity The Bank of Dreams & Nightmares. TBODAN offers creative writing enrichment in and out of schools and seeks to celebrate and elevate children’s creative writing in all its forms. The anthology is published by the charity’s own imprint, with a foreword by award winning author Nathan Filer.
