Cheese Broker Survivalist - Meet Jeremy Gemmary Memory

We had a fantastically creative morning last week with Class 3B at Radipole. While we were hoping to do some writing with the class, the Grumpy Bank Manager had other ideas - hijacking our workshop to help him solve a mystery…who had left their stuff all over our offices? So, as the class turned detective, we began to use the clues to track down just who had been sneaking around our Bank in the dead of night.

As it turns out, this class of budding Sherlocks were able to identify the individual very quickly and they soon pinpointed cheese shop owner and part time survivalist, Jeremy, as the messy culprit. Jeremy Gemmary Memory, a monster capable of using potions to transform into a guinea pig in order to slip unnoticed into buildings, was after items to add to their survival kit.

The character, their personal details and heart-wrenching backstory, all came together beautifully and we were able to get in touch with Jeremy very easily. It was a lot of fun. The character was beautifully illustrated for us by the fantastic Lucy Wooler - check out her work HERE.

Having found one character, the class, with the assistance of our Marvellous Mentors, Clive, Lizzi, Linda, Sue and Michaela, then set about populating the Town of Dreams and Nightmares with a whole host of other characters of their own creation. The class were extremely focussed and highly creative in their ideas, and they should be very proud of what they achieved in the morning.

Huge thanks to Mr Bowden and the rest of the staff at Radipole Primary, it’s a super creative school, and we love coming to work with them.
